Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Santa Clara, California, United States. Employees based near the Santa Clara office are expected to work from the office three days per week.

Base annual salary: $153,750–$225,000, plus a discretionary bonus of up to 15% and pre-IPO equity.

What you will do

• Research, design, develop, and deploy AI agents and agentic systems.
• Architect multi-agent systems with planning, decision-making, and execution capabilities.
• Integrate large language models and other advanced AI techniques into agent experiences.
• Build scalable and reliable infrastructure for operating AI agents in production.
• Develop Copilot GenAI Workflows that enable chat-like command execution.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers while diagnosing distributed-system issues and optimizing performance.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of relevant machine learning experience.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, GenAI, LLMs, and agentic AI.
• Understanding of agent-based modeling, reinforcement learning, autonomous systems, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Research experience in agentic AI or related fields.
• Experience building and deploying AI agents in real-world applications.
