Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Location: Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and deploy agentic AI systems that automate complex engineering workflows.
• Integrate AI agents with engineering simulation, CAD, and design tools.
• Develop machine learning models to accelerate simulations and optimize engineering processes.
• Build reliable ML infrastructure and evaluation frameworks with hardware engineers.
• Contribute to the company's ML infrastructure and technical direction as part of the founding engineering team.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python, software engineering, and applied machine learning experience.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and production ML systems.
• Familiarity with scientific computing, simulations, or CAD/EDA tools.
• Ability to work onsite in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with surrogate modeling, graph neural networks, physics-informed machine learning, or workflow automation.
