Senior Engineering Manager, Analytics

What you will do

• Lead the hirify.global Analytics and Travel Analytics teams across North America and Europe.
• Own the full SDLC, from refinement and estimation through testing, release, and post-release monitoring.
• Partner with Product on scope, timeline, cost, risk, and technical tradeoffs.
• Ensure the quality and security of embedded Looker and Power BI analytics.
• Establish data quality standards and deliver reliable pipelines, models, dashboards, and analytics on time and on budget.
• Coach engineers, develop technical leaders, hire qualified candidates, and strengthen team culture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI development, or software development.
• 3–5+ years of direct line management experience, including leading multiple teams.
• Technical depth in data pipelines, data modeling, BI, dimensional modeling, and common data design patterns.
• Working familiarity with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, dbt, Airflow, Looker, Power BI, and AWS or Azure.
• Experience delivering embedded analytics or AI analytics in a multi-tenant SaaS product.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not available. This is an on-site Toronto role.

• Prior experience in corporate travel, booking, or expense products.
