Service Owner German Payroll SAP HCM (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end performance, stability, and compliance of German Payroll (PY) and Time Management (PT) services in SAP HCM.
• Monitor SLAs and KPIs and manage external service providers to ensure reliable operational delivery.
• Act as the interface between HR stakeholders, payroll operations, and IT delivery teams, translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Manage demand pipelines and prioritize change requests and system enhancements within the HR IT roadmap.
• Drive continuous improvement, upgrades, and support package implementation for SAP HCM.
• Oversee SAP HCM architecture and integrations with adjacent HR systems and external interfaces.

Requirements

• University degree in information technology, business administration, human resources, or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience in SAP HCM consulting, service management, or payroll operations, with a strong focus on German Payroll and Time Management.
• Proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll configuration and troubleshooting, PT schema customization, support package implementation, and payroll run monitoring.
• In-depth knowledge of German labor law, tax and social security regulations, DEÜV, ELStAM, audit compliance, data privacy, and GDPR.
• Experience with IT service management, SLA monitoring, vendor management, requirements engineering, and business analysis.
• SAP Certified Application Associate in Human Capital Management and ITIL Foundation certification.
