Head of Central Service Engineering Malaysia (AI)

Location: Office/site only in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

What you will do

• Lead the Central Service Engineering organization in Malaysia and manage a growing team of engineers.
• Ensure alignment with global standards, KPI achievement, zero-harm safety, and quality objectives.
• Provide operational support for forced outages, technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and mitigation implementation.
• Represent Service Engineering with internal and external customers and support commercial negotiations, Sales, and Field Service activities.
• Coordinate workforce planning, skills development, workload balancing, succession planning, and organizational capability building.
• Drive technical excellence, continuous improvement, digitalization, and the use of AI-enabled engineering tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
• Leadership experience in a technical or engineering environment.
• Strong expertise in power generation equipment operations and maintenance.
• Strong customer focus, communication, leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
