Site Engineer Mechanical Commissioning

Location: Bucharest, Romania, with construction-site assignments worldwide for 90% of the year

What you will do

• Independently commission mechanical and process systems at large-scale power plant, green hydrogen, and grid stabilization projects.
• Execute commissioning activities within budget, schedule, quality, and EHS requirements.
• Commission individual components and complete mechanical systems on construction sites.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, customers, authorities, suppliers, external partners, and subcontractors.
• Provide field feedback to engineering teams to support continuous product improvement.
• Develop toward future site management responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, power engineering, or energy engineering.
• Professional experience or relevant university coursework; intercultural experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in international, multicultural teams and under challenging conditions.
• Professional business-fluent English; additional language skills are desirable.
• Willingness to work on construction sites worldwide for 90% of the year.
• Driving license.
