Design Engineer

Location: On-site in Prejmer, Romania

Annual gross compensation: RON 92,500–172,000

What you will do

• Create and verify technical drawings from project input.
• Plan, execute, and report the complete design of special products, including BOMs, approval and execution drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Participate in initial project meetings and maintain communication with internal and external collaborators.
• Coordinate with project leaders, production, sales, and back-office teams.
• Prepare accurate reports and perform related administrative and clerical duties.

Requirements

• Technical university degree in mechanics, mechatronics, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• At least medium-level English and proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, analyze processes, estimate costs, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, organization, and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication with production, sales, back-office, project, and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other parametric CAD software such as CATIA, Ihirify.globalor, ProE, or Solid Edge.
• ERP system knowledge.
