Banking Services Operations Associate IV - Escrow Administration (Mortgage Escrow)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States of America; onsite position

Salary: $20.55–$34.25 per hour (USD)

M&T Bank provides banking and loan servicing operations, including escrow administration for serviced loans.

What you will do

• Maintain and monitor tax, escrow, insurance, and mortgage insurance information for serviced loans.
• Perform complex data entry, system updates, document reviews, validation, and preparation.
• Research and resolve non-standard customer issues, loan-level exceptions, and escrow account maintenance requests.
• Complete reconciliations and analyses related to escrow activities and communicate with customers and vendors.
• Participate in departmental projects, implementation activities, and procedure reviews.
• Identify process improvements and escalate risk-related issues while maintaining internal control and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least 1 year of general work experience, or at least 3 years of combined higher education and/or work experience including 1 year of general work experience.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Proficiency with personal computers, spreadsheet software, and word-processing software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills.
