Associate, Information Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work model with in-office and work-from-home flexibility, varyhirify.global by business area.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 base salary annually; eligible for a discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Implement and continuously improve information security governance frameworks aligned with hirify.global risk management practices.
• Perform IAM risk assessments focused on high-privilege access, review controls, and monitor security measures includhirify.global IAM, change management, and third-party assessments.
• Assess compliance with information security policies, regulatory requirements, control standards, and external audit expectations.
• Track security findhirify.globals, issues, exceptions, remediation progress, and develop management reports, dashboards, risk metrics, and governance updates.
• Develop and maintain security standards, procedures, monitorhirify.global roadmaps, and the broader information security and privacy program.
• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, Business, DevOps, and senior management stakeholders on security outcomes and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, Identity and Access Management, Cyber Compliance, IT Audit, DevSecOps, or Frontier AI.
• Familiarity with non-financial risk models and threat assessments.
• Experience with information security controls, includhirify.global secure IAM toolhirify.global integrations, systems security, encryption systems, and application security.
• Deep knowledge and experience with security and regulatory compliance and external audits.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinkhirify.global ability to solve complex business and technical problems and communicate with senior management and information technology subject-matter experts.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, accurately, and accordhirify.global to plan while maintainhirify.global high-quality standards.
• Ability to build relationships with Information Security Specialists and Senior Management, challenge security programs and the second line of defense, and handle difficult conversations when required.
• Ability to remain calm and competent in high-pressure situations and maintain a constructive, thorough, and self-reflective mindset.

• CISM certification and Certified in Cyber Security (CC) certification from ISC2.
