Senior Full Stack Java Engineer (AI & SRE)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas; onsite work required three days per week. The role is a six-month contract-to-hire position.

Salary: $58–$60 per hour

hirify.global is hiring for an engineering contract role focused on full-stack application development and site reliability engineering.

What you will do

• Write, test, document, and deliver production-quality code, scripts, components, and libraries.
• Design integrated systems that support scale, reliability, speed, and reuse across product domains.
• Develop SRE solutions, application functionality, and SRE support activities.
• Lead root-cause analysis, technical-debt reduction, and action plans for systemic problems.
• Anticipate scaling, latency, durability, and security risks and guide mitigation strategies.
• Coach junior engineers, evaluate team development needs, prototype emerging technologies, and improve delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, technology, information systems, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale production solutions.
• Full-stack development experience with Java and Spring for backend development.
• Experience with Angular or React and messaging frameworks.
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Worth, Texas three days per week.
• Experience with AI and SRE development or support.
