Summer Intern - Development Operations (Clinical Development)

What you will do

• Assess how Development Operations teams use shared tools and identify opportunities to improve communication, project coordination, document management, and workflows.
• Rotate across Clinical Trial Operations, Clinical Business Operations, Clinical Program Optimization and Innovation, and Medical Writing and Trial Transparency & Disclosure.
• Shadow professionals including Clinical Trial Managers, Trial Master File Specialists, Clinical Finance Managers, Medical Writers, and Clinical Process Managers.
• Support special projects and work group initiatives that improve the efficiency and quality of clinical trials.
• Review clinical site documents, Trial Master Files, financial spreadsheets, protocols, and related systems for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Nursing, or Accounting.
• Interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry.
• High-level understanding of clinical trials and their purpose.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organization, and attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.
