Government Affairs Intern (Semiconductor)

Location: Malta, New York, United States; onsite internship. Travel up to 10%.

Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Monitor congressional hearings, legislation, administration policies, and semiconductor industry trends.
• Support Government Affairs activities, including internal communications and policy updates.
• Identify external stakeholders and help cultivate partnerships supporting organizational objectives.
• Coordinate with external third parties to support short- and long-term Government Affairs strategies.
• Help prepare and execute executive-level engagements with government and industry partners.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• Be at least a junior at the time of application and actively pursue a bachelor's or master's degree in international security, security studies, public policy, or a related field.
• Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in work, academic projects, or competitions.
• Project management, planning, organizational, coordination, and strategy skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
