Manufacturing Unit Manager (Emergency Lighting)

What you will do

• Lead the transformation and daily operations of the UK Emergency Lighting manufacturing unit.
• Oversee production, planning, logistics, supply chain, engineering, procurement, quality, HSE, and fulfillment.
• Implement global business unit strategy and align site operations with EMEA priorities.
• Deliver improvements in productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, cost, revenue, EBITA, and delivery performance.
• Build and develop a high-performing site leadership team, including succession planning and talent development.
• Lead change initiatives and strengthen customer and supplier partnerships through performance data and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience leading a production or manufacturing site.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and requirements; emergency lighting experience is beneficial.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex product and operational environments.
• Experience with large-scale operational improvement, transformation, or turnaround programmes.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management, operational data analysis, and cost optimisation.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Additional European languages.
