Agentic AI Engineer (Sports Performance)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work options are available.

Salary: EUR 3050–5250 per month gross. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Design and ship specialist AI agents using memory, tools, data, and multi-step reasoning.
• Build multi-agent orchestration for routing, dependency management, conflict resolution, and response synthesis.
• Develop confidence, uncertainty, evidence, and consequence assessment before recommendations reach practitioners.
• Implement human-in-the-loop escalation for answering, requesting more information, or deferring to human experts.
• Convert sport scientist expertise into validated, versioned, and testable agent capabilities.
• Build evaluation, observability, and regression-testing systems for reliable production performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Applied ML, AI, or Software Engineering.
• Strong Python skills and software engineering experience building, deploying, and operating production systems.
• Hands-on experience building production agentic AI and multi-agent systems with persistent memory, tool calling, orchestration, routing, and dependency-aware workflows.
• Strong understanding of parallel and sequential agent execution, output conflict resolution, and response synthesis.
• Practical experience with probabilistic calibration, including Platt scaling, isotonic regression, Expected Calibration Error, calibration curves, and uncertainty estimation.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Production RAG, retrieval optimization, reranking, foundation-model fine-tuning, LoRA, or PEFT experience.
• LLM observability, drift detection, evaluation frameworks, and automated regression testing experience.
• Knowledge of human-in-the-loop architectures, causal and counterfactual reasoning, or confidence-threshold design.
• Experience with Go, AWS services, GraphQL, REST, gRPC, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with sports scientists, clinicians, or athlete performance data.
