Investment Associate (Gaming)

Location: Remote, with the possibility of working from anywhere in the world. Department location: Berlin, Germany.

What you will do

• Source new investment opportunities and qualify inbound leads by meeting with entrepreneurs.
• Evaluate opportunities through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer and user reviews, and operational and financial diligence.
• Support negotiations and prepare investment conclusions, presentations, valuations, and transaction models for management.
• Coordinate with legal and finance departments to support smooth merger and acquisition execution.
• Develop financial models and valuation analyses and contribute to technical reports for senior management.
• Monitor M&A market trends, mitigate acquisition risks, and mentor Analysts on M&A activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in private equity investing, corporate finance, banking, or M&A.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial concepts, financial modelling, business modelling, and valuation.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with foreign business executives and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with curiosity, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work independently and in a global team.
