Location: San Mateo, California, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $133,000–$199,400 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
• Develop market insights through internal and external relationships to support strategy and M&A activities.
• Build business cases, valuation models, presentations, and strategic rationales for potential transactions.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence and manage projects from evaluation through signing, closing, and integration.
• Present recommendations and business cases to senior management for approval.
• Collaborate with business units, Sony businesses, post-merger integration, operations, investor relations, and capital markets teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of M&A experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Experience evaluating inorganic growth opportunities and building financial models and presentations.
• Strong strategic, quantitative, financial modeling, data analysis, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate across globally distributed management teams and cultures.
• BA or equivalent preferred.
