Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Drezdenko, Poland; extensive travel to suppliers across Europe and globally, up to 60%

What you will do

• Manage supplier qualification for existing and potential suppliers, including new products and production processes.
• Plan and conduct supplier, product, and process audits, inspections, validations, and first-piece approvals.
• Manage non-conforming materials, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and control plans.
• Support suppliers in implementing product specifications, drawings, quality requirements, and process expectations.
• Monitor supplier performance through quality metrics, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead supplier development projects and coordinate internal teams on quality issues affecting product availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a similar technical quality role.
• Practical experience with supplier qualification, supplier audits, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
• Fluent Polish and Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English (B2/C1), written and spoken.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, RCA, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, ISO 9001, Excel, and MS Copilot.
