What you will do

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Act as a liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering.
• Create and maintain engineering and manufacturing documentation, including routings.
• Lead and support process improvement, quality control, lean manufacturing, and capital expenditure projects.
• Manage and report KPIs, investigate labor variances, and correct standards as needed.
• Identify and implement productivity improvements related to equipment, manufacturing methods, and workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of engineered-to-order CNC manufacturing experience, including machining, CNC lathes, and mills.
• Experience in ISO-controlled, low-volume/high-mix production environments and on a machine shop floor.
• Experience with cost reduction, quality improvement, throughput improvement, project management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to use Solid Edge and experience with Haas, Mazak, and associated tooling.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA 18001 management systems, plus quality variance requests.
