What you will do

• Review application requests and select or apply standard and special products, including mechanical seals, fluid control products, couplings, filters, and bearings.
• Prepare engineering proposals, product specifications, material selections, and cost-effective design solutions.
• Perform advanced seal, fluid control, coupling, leakage, thermal, flow, and other engineering calculations using CSTEDY and similar analysis tools.
• Direct CAD layout and detail drawing activities and approve basic CSTEDY reports and fabricated-part quality decisions.
• Lead field troubleshooting, failure analysis, customer-site meetings, technical presentations, and customer training.
• Develop and test new products, build prototypes, manage development programs, and support the transition from development into production.

Requirements

• Accredited Bachelor of Engineering degree or an equivalent overseas qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in an application or product development role.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant products, equipment, and industrial applications.
• Experience with engineering calculations, mechanical seal design, testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, manage engineering workload, and collaborate with customers, CAD personnel, marketing, production, and engineering teams.
