Identity & M365 Senior Engineer

Location: Remote, must be based in Panama. Monday to Friday, 8-hour workday starting at 8 a.m. local time; occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required.

What you will do

• Own and modernize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, and Defender.
• Lead identity and access management initiatives across Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and identity governance.
• Design and build enterprise automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub, PowerShell, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strengthen identity, endpoint, and email security through hardening, incident response support, vulnerability management, and audit readiness.
• Lead complex engineering initiatives, influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security, cloud, application, and global teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure or systems engineering experience.
• 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, Defender, Entra ID, and Azure AD Connect.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, Conditional Access, MFA, identity governance, privileged access management, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitHub, and PowerShell, plus experience implementing automation solutions.
• Experience leading technical projects, supporting enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Associate degree in information services, computer science, or an equivalent qualification; must be located in Panama.
