Director, Risk (Fintech)

hirify.global operates in the payments industry, with the role supporting Enterprise Risk Management for Brazil and broader global commerce operations.

What you will do

• Own Enterprise Risk Management matters for Brazil operations and represent the ERM team locally.
• Embed risk accountability into business operations while supporting responsible and sustainable strategic objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders across Brazil, LATAM, and global entities to address complex country-specific issues and balance risk with business priorities.
• Assess, monitor, and escalate risks within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Communicate risk insights and recommendations to executive and senior leaders, and engage with the local regulator when required.
• Present risk assessment results to the Brazil Board and other governance forums.

Requirements

• Proven experience with risk management practices, including risk and controls evaluation.
• Experience preparing and delivering executive-level reports.
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory and risk management requirements across Brazil.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, communication, relationship-building, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong ownership, accountability, work ethic, and creative problem-solving abilities aligned with business objectives.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of merchant acquiring services and/or the financial system.
• Understanding of risk management requirements across other LATAM jurisdictions.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
