IAM Security Engineer

Location: Remote in Hungary or Sofia, Bulgaria

What you will do

• Design and implement IAM solutions in Okta, including SSO, MFA, and identity lifecycle management.
• Manage Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes across enterprise systems.
• Integrate Okta with Azure AD, AWS IAM, Active Directory, and third-party applications.
• Define and enforce access policies and role-based access controls in Okta.
• Monitor and respond to IAM-related incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Support IAM roadmaps, security assessments, audits, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in IAM engineering or related security roles.
• Strong experience with SAML and OIDC federation protocols and federated identity providers.
• Familiarity with Okta Workflows, API integrations, and SCIM provisioning.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of GDPR, ISO27001, SOC2, and related regulatory frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Okta Certified Professional, CISSP, or Azure Security Engineer certification.
