Trust & Safety Analyst

Location: U.S. (Remote)

Salary: $75K–$90K annually, based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Investigate safety incidents from intake through resolution and provide empathetic, timely customer support.
• Classify incidents, assess severity, and make fair deactivation decisions regarding bad actors.
• Develop safety initiatives, tools, policies, and workflows that reduce incidents and strengthen marketplace integrity.
• Assess safety and compliance risks, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Partner with Support, Product, Legal, and other teams to drive safety outcomes.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on Trust & Safety policies and communicate with customers and partners during high-stakes situations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in clinical practice, Trust & Safety, risk management, compliance, or a related field.
• Strong judgment and the ability to make difficult, unbiased decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen and express ideas to varied audiences.
• Ability to identify risks, de-escalate situations, work independently, and stay organized.
• Ability to use statistical tools and techniques to analyze, interpret, and present safety-related data.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.

Nice to have

• LVN or RN qualification.
