Substrate Capacity Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid role based at the hirify.global site in Shanghai, China, with additional locations in Chengdu and Shenzhen

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end supplier capacity expansion programs, managing scope, schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, planning, finance, and supplier teams to deliver capacity on schedule.
• Develop long-range capacity strategies and investment plans for research and development, product ramps, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Track facility readiness, equipment installation, qualification, and production ramp activities.
• Translate business forecasts into actionable supplier capacity requirements and align them with future demand.
• Analyze industry trends, mitigate supply risks, and drive supplier process improvements supporting operational efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in project management, capacity planning, or a relevant role.
• Knowledge of semiconductor, assembly, substrate, or related manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience driving results across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model at an assigned hirify.global site in China.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience in capacity planning or capital expenditure execution within the semiconductor or technology industry.
