Staff GTM Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, United States

Salary: $210,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own and evolve the agentic engineering harness, including build pipelines, guard hooks, worktree tooling, CI, model routing, and permission tiers.
• Design and build internal full-stack tools and agents using TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, and MCP servers.
• Develop Salesforce solutions with Apex, LWC, Platform Events, permission sets, and source-driven metadata deployments.
• Set architecture, testing, code review, release, and production runbook standards for Business Systems.
• Enable analysts and engineers to build agents such as Sales OS and Data Quality agents.
• Partner with Finance, GTM, Deal Desk, and Data teams to build scalable systems and reduce reliance on external consultants.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Salesforce and full-stack engineering experience.
• Deep hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Salesforce data modeling, sharing and security, and Salesforce CLI deployments.
• Production experience with Python, TypeScript, Next.js, web applications, APIs, and databases.
• Experience building with agentic coding tools, including tests, CI gates, reviews, and scoped permissions.
• Experience integrating CRM, billing, CPQ, provisioning, data warehouses, reverse ETL, and pipeline generation workflows.
• Staff-level architectural judgment, cross-functional decision-making, and clear technical writing.

Nice to have

• Experience with Chargebee, Stripe, Zuora, or another subscription billing platform, including usage-based or marketplace billing.
• Experience building MCP servers, LLM evaluations, or human-in-the-loop approval workflows.
• Experience with BigQuery, dbt, Clay, or event-driven integration patterns.
• Familiarity with developer tools or technical B2B SaaS go-to-market and a PLG-to-sales-led transition.
