Security of AI Senior Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in U.S. hirify.global offices or client sites, with locations in Chicago, Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami, Orlando, Phoenix, and Tampa. Local or out-of-state travel may be required. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $142,000–$227,000 per year, plus a 14% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $161,880–$258,780.

What you will do

• Lead AI security engagements, including AI risk assessments, LLM threat modeling, agentic system security reviews, red team exercises, and governance program design.
• Advise client executives and security leaders throughout the AI security lifecycle, from initial assessment and governance through secure architecture and monitoring.
• Shape Security of AI methodologies, tooling, delivery accelerators, and service offerings.
• Build the practice by recruiting, mentoring, and developing managers and senior consultants.
• Represent hirify.global through publications, speaking engagements, and industry working groups.

Requirements

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in professional services, consulting, or client-facing advisory work.
• Meaningful experience in security architecture, AI/ML security, application security, cloud security, or security consulting.
• Hands-on experience with AI security risks such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model inversion, ML supply chain threats, agentic access control, or LLM-integrated application security.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS, EU AI Act, and sector-specific AI risk guidance.
• Experience managing client relationships and multi-workstream engagements, and leading consulting teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CISA.
