TL;DR
Jr Data Steward (GEOINT): Supporting SFP data quality and integrity through data lifecycle management, spatial and temporal data analysis, and database modernization with an accent on ArcGIS, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, remote sensing, and intelligence operations. Focus on conditioning and exploring structured and unstructured data, integrating workflows with enterprise APIs, automating repetitive tasks, and communicating complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

What you will do
- Provide data steward support for FG NOX (SFP), focusing on data quality, integrity, and lifecycle management.
- Develop data policies, standards, requirements, and conditioning processes to improve data quality.
- Analyze and explore spatial, temporal, and non-spatial data across structured and unstructured formats.
- Support database modernization, enterprise database management, API integration, workflow testing, and automation of repetitive tasks.
- Transfer data across formats and networks, update the requirements database, and support training for NSG community members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to develop data strategies and communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- US citizenship required.
- TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required. The offer is contingent on customer acceptance, clearance validation, and government contracting approval; a Counterintelligence Polygraph follows customer indoctrination.
- High school diploma and at least 2 years of GEOINT intelligence experience.
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcPro, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, PgAdmin, and APIs.
- Experience with data mining, cleansing, and exploration, including spatial, temporal, and non-spatial data.
- Knowledge of remote sensing disciplines including EO, SAR, MASINT, IR, and LiDAR.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Geography, or GEOINT.
- Experience with Flowable or other workflow management systems, MapInfo/MapBasic, and Tableau.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python or R, statistical analysis, data preprocessing, and basic machine learning algorithms.
