Lived Experience and Insights Lead

Location: West Kent, United Kingdom; travel across West Kent and multiple service locations required

Salary: £36,101.10–£38,114.53 per year, pro rata for 22.5 hours per week

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with people using services, volunteers, peer mentors and recovery communities.
• Create opportunities for meaningful involvement and genuine co-production.
• Gather experiences, identify emerging themes and translate insights into practical recommendations.
• Influence service development, digital innovation and transformation programmes.
• Facilitate workshops, engage communities and present recommendations to senior leaders.
• Work with the Strategic Improvement Manager and leadership teams to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Ability to build trusting relationships with diverse people and communities.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience gathering, analysing and translating insights into practical recommendations.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to influence through relationships rather than hierarchy.
• Passion for co-production, meaningful involvement, curiosity and creative problem-solving.
• Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship and support for new visa applications or extensions are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in engagement, co-production, quality improvement, research, community development, service development or lived experience leadership.
