Senior Product Designer (Retirement & Wealth)

Location: Home-based remote role in the United States; occasional travel for onsite department meetings and collaboration events. Typical schedule: 8 a.m. CT to 5 p.m. CT. Relocation is not provided.

Salary: $100,200–$130,000 per year, with possible incentive and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead product design initiatives from discovery through delivery for retirement and wealth digital products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Content Design, QA, and business stakeholders to shape user and business outcomes.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and reduce downstream rework.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Use AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and design execution while maintaining human-centered quality.
• Develop scalable design systems, component libraries, and Storybook documentation for consistent design-to-development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Media, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing digital products with user-centered methodologies, conducting research, and running usability tests.
• Experience with scalable design systems, component libraries, design tokens, and design-to-development workflows.
• Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping, auto-layout, and component architecture.
• Must work remotely from the United States and be available during 8 a.m. CT to 5 p.m. CT hours.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI design tools to improve design velocity and exploration.
• Experience working in Agile environments with Design Sprints and Scrum teams.
