Software Project Manager (Healthcare Software)

Location: Bremen, Germany; flexible work from home or the office

hirify.global develops scientific and diagnostic technologies, including the MALDI Biotyper software product for rapid microorganism identification.

What you will do

• Lead software development projects from planning through delivery, managing priorities, timelines, risks, and progress.
• Translate product needs, use cases, and feature requests into software requirements and actionable development tasks.
• Coordinate decisions and implementation across software developers, testers, application specialists, Product Management, and other stakeholders.
• Create project documentation and maintain traceability from requirements through implementation and testing.
• Plan and coordinate testing, verification, validation, release activities, systems, data, and resources.

Requirements

• Experience managing or coordinating software development projects.
• Understanding of software development concepts and processes.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong organizational, planning, stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Very good German communication skills at B2 level or higher.
• Good written and spoken English skills at B1 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated software environments, including medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare software.
• Knowledge of software lifecycle, quality, cybersecurity, requirements traceability, verification, and validation practices.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304, IEC 82304-1, or the European IVDR.
• Experience in interdisciplinary R&D environments and technical documentation.
