Front-End Developer (Vue/Nuxt)

Location: 100% remote within the USA and eligible states

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain responsive customer booking websites, advisor tools, and internal platforms.
• Develop modern front-end applications with Vue 3, Nuxt, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Back-End Developers on discovery, planning, architecture, and estimation.
• Create automated unit and component tests with Vitest and Vue Test Utils.
• Document reusable UI components and patterns with Storybook.
• Improve Core Web Vitals, bundle sizes, SSR, hydration, accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility.

Requirements

• At least three years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong experience with Vue 3 Composition API and Nuxt 3/4.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Vite, Vitest, Git workflows, pull request reviews, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, responsive design, performance optimization, SSR, hydration, and front-end security.
• Ability to work remotely from the USA and eligible states, with clear English communication.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating Nuxt 2 applications to Nuxt 3/4.
• Experience building shared component libraries, design systems, or front-end platforms.
• Experience with travel, online booking, e-commerce, or high-traffic customer-facing websites.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and reviewing, testing, and securing generated code.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.
