Frontend (Vue/Nuxt)

Location: Vienna, Austria; hybrid setup with home office and an office in Vienna's 1st district.

Salary: €55,000–€60,000 gross per year, with the possibility of a higher offer based on qualifications and experience.

Calmar is a startup financing platform built by Gateway Ventures, supporting funding rounds, pooled investments, holdings management, and branded investor networks across Europe.

What you will do

• Research user needs and analyse the existing platform experience.
• Redesign key journeys from onboarding through investment, including regulated flows.
• Design polished, accessible interfaces that make complex financial processes easy to understand.
• Build production interfaces with Vue.js and Nuxt 3.
• Own the design system and component library, including theming, accessibility, and interface copy.
• Review usability before releases and address issues after launch.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in product or UX design.
• A production portfolio combining frontend design and implementation.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and a component-based framework such as Vue.js or React.
• Experience with design systems, Figma or similar tools, user interviews, and usability testing.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js and Nuxt.
• Experience with theming or multi-brand design systems.
• German language skills for working with German-speaking customers.
