Developer Success Engineer (Prefect/Dagster)

Location: EMEA; remote-first role with availability from 09:00–18:00 CET (UTC ± 2) and participation in 24/7 on-call rotations.

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across hirify.global and Dagster installations, integrations, deployments, cloud environments, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Own customer issues from initial investigation through resolution, including moderate-complexity investigations across customer cloud environments.
• Explain root causes with evidence, request the information needed for troubleshooting, and maintain clear customer updates during escalations.
• Convert recurring issues into documentation, debugging resources, tooling, and automation that reduce future support volume.
• File reproducible product issues and communicate recurring failure patterns to Engineering and Product.
• Work the support queue independently and participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Fluency in Python for reading and debugging code written by others.
• Hands-on experience running workloads in at least one major cloud and in containers or Kubernetes.
• Experience with a workflow orchestrator such as hirify.global, Dagster, Airflow, or a comparable platform.
• Technical, customer-facing experience in support, solutions engineering, developer relations, or a similar function.
• Clear written communication suitable for explaining root causes to senior engineers.
• Availability for 09:00–18:00 CET (UTC ± 2) and 24/7 on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with hirify.global or Dagster.
• Open-source contributions.
• SQL and data warehouse familiarity.
• Experience building support tooling or automation.
