Senior Software Engineer, IP4G

What you will do

• Maintain and extend an automated and manual test harness for OpenStack endpoints.
• Architect and develop integration testing for multi-service, API-driven applications.
• Automate smoke tests in developer pipelines and run comprehensive tests in parallel with ongoing development.
• Test different versions of microservices in production-like environments to identify defects before customer release.
• Test CLI, TUI, and GUI applications used to interact with the systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and subject matter experts to prioritize test cases and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software testing experience focused on cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and storage systems.
• Experience with GCP-preferred cloud environments.
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable automation code; Elixir is preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Kustomize or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, analytical problem-solving, organization, and communication.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

• Experience with LLM tools and frameworks.
