Senior Data Product Owner (Azure DevOps & Data Strategy)

Location: Remote, Germany; service region: Germany, France, and Switzerland

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and strategic alignment.
• Translate existing documentation into actionable requirements, user stories, and work items.
• Coordinate stakeholders across R&D, Finance, IT, and technology teams.
• Guide the development team throughout the software development life cycle.
• Define data strategies and promote Data Mesh principles and concepts.
• Contribute to data products that drive business outcomes.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience in IT, Data Management, Product Management, or a similar field.
• Fluent German, written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with backlog management and requirements prioritization.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, Data Strategy, and Data Products experience.
