AWS Security Risk Manager

Location: Hybrid work in Houston or one of the listed U.S. locations: Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, or Tampa. Work may involve local or out-of-state travel to hirify.global offices and client sites. The role follows engagement location and time-zone overlap requirements. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $125,000–$200,000 annually, plus a 12% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $140,000–$224,000.

What you will do

• Identify, assess, and manage client security risks while enabling secure AWS adoption, modernization, and transformation.
• Translate complex business and data requirements into practical AWS Security solutions.
• Design and implement enterprise data platforms and pipelines on AWS.
• Lead security, risk, governance, compliance, and remediation engagements in regulated enterprise environments.
• Build trusted client relationships and communicate technical concepts to engineering, security, compliance, business, and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor Consultants and Senior Consultants, contribute to proposals, and expand AWS data engineering capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on security experience across cloud or enterprise environments.
• At least 2 years of consulting or professional services delivery experience and 1+ year of direct AWS security experience.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience delivering work in large, regulated enterprise environments, with familiarity with change control and audit scrutiny.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years of professional services or industry experience.
• Required AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and AWS Certified Security – Specialty certifications.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
