Senior Portfolio Investment Analyst – Fixed Income

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; hybrid work schedule

Base salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and skills.

What you will do

• Partner with portfolio managers on daily portfolio modeling, exposure monitoring, trade allocations, and cash flow management.
• Use internal portfolio management and trade modeling systems.
• Coordinate portfolio and security transactions with analysts, portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and legal teams.
• Monitor portfolio analytics and generate accurate orders throughout the trade cycle.
• Determine interest rate and currency hedging information and perform other daily portfolio management activities.
• Support the investment process and conduct ad hoc analysis related to investment strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of hirify.global or related experience.
• Experience with equity or fixed income portfolios; fixed income experience is strongly preferred.
• Technology proficiency, a data-driven mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to process information and summarize conclusions clearly.
• Prioritization, planning, organizational, follow-through, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Project management experience.

Nice to have

• Progress toward an MBA, MS in Finance, or CFA designation.
• Knowledge of derivatives and multiple asset classes.
