Mid/Sr Software Developer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and analyze the performance of software services and systems.
• Build and maintain containerized microservices in an AWS-based architecture.
• Support software development planning and execution using established engineering practices.
• Develop space domain awareness capabilities, including observation scoring and “truth” data generation.
• Integrate scoring and data-fusion processes into the overall system.
• Develop workflows for updating the RSO database as a source of truth.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and a CI polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or an equivalent field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of software engineering or software development experience for information technology systems.
• Experience with object-oriented programming in Java, JEE, C++, or Python.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Mockito, Lombok, OpenAPI/Swagger, and RESTful service development.
• Experience with microservices, containerization, systems engineering, system design, and solution engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Gradle, Kafka, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, or NiFi.
• Experience deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes using Helm Charts.
• Experience with AWS, Linux, and command-line interfaces.
• Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification.
