What you will do
- Develop and integrate cryogenic control electronics into quantum-chip carrier solutions.
- Evaluate and characterize cryogenic ICs and semiconductor technologies from partners and suppliers.
- Design PCBs, test substrates, carriers, packages, and electrical interfaces for cryogenic electronics.
- Develop and execute electrical and cryogenic characterization and validation.
- Work with quantum physicists, electronics engineers, packaging specialists, semiconductor partners, foundries, and suppliers to productize emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in electronic engineering or applied physics.
- Hands-on experience with electronic hardware development, testing, and validation.
- Experience with ICs, mixed-signal electronics, RF/microwave electronics, or semiconductor applications.
- Experience designing PCBs, test hardware, or electronic interfaces.
- Strong experimental, measurement, and data-driven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to apply system-level thinking across ICs, electronics, and packaging.
Nice to have
- Experience with cryogenic electronics, quantum-control systems, or semiconductor packaging.
- Experience with fabless semiconductor development, foundry processes, technology transfer, or outsourced manufacturing.
- Experience in a commercial technology organization.
