What you will do
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential fire and safety hazards in industrial processes.
- Design and implement safety procedures and protocols to mitigate process risks.
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other professionals on high-stakes safety projects.
- Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
- Provide technical support and risk management advice to clients and project teams.
- Engage in research and development to improve fire safety technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in fire safety engineering or process safety management, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in fire safety engineering principles and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or similar.
