Solutions Lead (AI)

Location: In office in London, UK

Salary: £100,000–£140,000 base salary per year, plus performance-based compensation, equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Lead discovery and solution scoping for enterprise pilots in collaboration with Sales, customers, AI Success Engineers, researchers and product engineers.
• Interview operational, technical and executive stakeholders and facilitate discovery workshops to identify workflows, constraints, exceptions and decision criteria.
• Convert interviews, process documentation and data into structured domain models and implementation-ready product, data, model and workflow requirements.
• Define pilot hypotheses, baselines, KPIs, acceptance criteria, evidence requirements, scope and routes to wider deployment.
• Design and evaluate pilots using experimental, quasi-experimental, replay, simulation or observational methods; analyze uncertainty, limitations, safety behavior and practical significance.
• Write rigorous pilot reports and customer case studies, and coordinate independent academic or evaluator validation when required.

Requirements

• Experience leading ambiguous technical or analytical engagements where discovery changed the problem being solved.
• Excellent interviewing, facilitation, writing and stakeholder communication skills.
• Technical fluency in data and AI, including the ability to inspect datasets with Python or SQL and assess system or model trade-offs.
• Working knowledge of KPI design, experimental design, causal inference and statistical uncertainty.
• Commercial awareness, high agency and comfort moving between customers, research and delivery without a complete brief.
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential; travel to customer sites will sometimes be required.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical consulting, AI transformation, operations research, analytics, digital twins, process mining, knowledge graphs, simulation or decision science.
• Experience in supply chains, manufacturing, life sciences, chemicals, logistics, energy, infrastructure or other complex domains.
• Advanced quantitative, scientific or systems degree.
• German or another European language.
