Technical Integration Specialist (Apache NiFi)

Location: Spain; candidates must be based in Málaga or Valencia. Hybrid work with one day per week at the nearest office; workplaces are available in Madrid, Barcelona, and Málaga.

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot integration and reporting solutions for customer projects.
• Develop integration flows using Apache NiFi and other integration frameworks.
• Work with XML, JSON, and CSV data transformation formats, APIs, and HTTP protocols.
• Develop and maintain SQL reports and queries while assessing data-flow feasibility and complexity.
• Investigate integration, reporting, and data-process issues and support testing, UAT, stabilization, and resolution.
• Collaborate with analysts and technical teams on requirements, technical solutions, standards, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• English proficiency with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Technical background and experience with software integrations, web services, APIs, or data-related solutions.
• Knowledge of HTTP, XML, JSON, CSV, SQL, and reporting or data solutions.
• Familiarity with software development best practices and Git-based workflows, including GitLab.
• Strong analytical thinking and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to solving complex problems.
• Willingness and ability to learn new tools and frameworks, including Apache NiFi.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language such as Java.
• Previous experience with Apache NiFi or similar integration frameworks.
