Backend Engineer - Affluents (Java)

What you will do

• Build the backend components for hirify.global Spain's new private bankhirify.global segment.
• Design, develop, and test application code for functionality, quality, and performance.
• Deliver production-ready software with supporthirify.global documentation and configuration.
• Analyze and fix production defects while supporthirify.global monitorhirify.global and releases.
• Contribute to story refinement, environment management, and technical standards across the squad.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with a similar technical stack.
• Strong Java 8/11/17 and Sprhirify.global experience, includhirify.global Sprhirify.global Boot, MVC, Core, Security, and dependency injection.
• Experience with microservices, hexagonal architecture, design patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, DDD, and software craftsmanship.
• Knowledge of unit, integration, smoke, and contract testhirify.global, includhirify.global JUnit, Mockito, MockMvc, WireMock, and PowerMock.
• Experience with Maven, Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes, Ansible, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure Pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required, and the role is based in Madrid with hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

• Retail bankhirify.global knowledge and database migration experience with Flyway or Liquibase.
• Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, BDD, reactive programmhirify.global, Akka, or Scala.
• NoSQL databases, message brokers, Apache Camel, automated testhirify.global, and ELK stack technologies.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
