What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Design and consume REST APIs within microservices-based architectures.
- Deploy and operate applications in OpenShift environments using Docker containers.
- Collaborate with Angular frontend teams to integrate backend services.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration activities.
- Analyze incidents and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL.
- Experience with Docker, OpenShift, REST API development, and Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Long-term contract with a 100% remote setup associated with Málaga, Spain.
Nice to have
- Frontend development experience with Angular.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Spark technologies, including Databricks, Cloudera, or AWS.
