Government and Public Affairs: Community Engagement Manager

Location: US, Ohio, New Albany, with a primary focus on Columbus, New Albany, Johnstown, and Licking County. Hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with schools, nonprofits, civic organizations, workforce development partners, educational institutions, local officials, and community leaders across Ohio.
• Represent hirify.global at community events, meetings, conferences, volunteer activities, and stakeholder engagements.
• Lead the Neighbor Relations program and serve as a visible liaison between hirify.global and local communities.
• Manage charitable contributions, grants, sponsorships, and community investment programs while measuring outcomes and communicating impact.
• Coordinate site visits, community meetings, executive engagements, stakeholder events, volunteer opportunities, and outreach campaigns.
• Collaborate with Government and Public Affairs, Corporate Responsibility, hirify.global Foundation, site operations, communications, and business groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public affairs, communications, public relations, nonprofit management, education, political science, business, marketing, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in community relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, nonprofit management, education partnerships, grants administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Ohio's community, education, nonprofit, workforce development, or civic sectors.
• Experience working with external stakeholders and community organizations.
• Strong relationship-building, written and verbal communication, organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information and work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed, and rapidly evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Residence in or strong familiarity with the Licking County region.
• Experience representing a large, complex organization, major employer, public institution, or significant community-facing project.
• Experience managing grants, sponsorships, community investment programs, budgets, and impact measurement.
• Experience with community foundations, universities, workforce development organizations, educational institutions, or corporate social impact programs.
• Strong event planning and stakeholder engagement experience.
