Representative, Broker Compensation

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA; onsite role.

Base salary: $40,000–$75,600 per year.

What you will do

• Research and independently resolve complex broker compensation, licensing, appointing, contracting, regulatory, and compliance inquiries.
• Own communication with brokers and internal partners from initial inquiry through final resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, sales teams, field partners, home office partners, and plan administrators.
• Educate internal and external partners on broker compensation practices and requirements.
• Analyze root causes, identify service improvements, and help implement workflow and process changes.
• Support leadership with high-profile customers, escalated issues, and special initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• Professional customer service experience and a strong understanding of brokers, plan administrators, and the marketplace.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, reasoning, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make effective decisions with minimal support and manage complex, high-volume workloads under pressure.
• Ability to adapt communication for different audiences and collaborate across organizational levels.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to support extended coverage hours when required.
