Software Engineer (.NET/Azure)

What you will do

• Develop and support web-based solutions for the transportation and logistics technology platform.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications in small, agile development teams.
• Build REST APIs for internal and external use.
• Deploy and support cloud-based technology in Microsoft Azure.
• Analyze user stories, communicate effectively, solve problems, and deliver quality code quickly.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing Microsoft-stack applications with current .NET versions, specifically web-based applications using ASP.NET MVC.
• Experience with Entity Framework, MSSQL, and relational database design and development.
• Solid understanding and experience with a front-end JavaScript framework such as Angular, Vue, or React.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs for external and internal use.
• Experience deploying and supporting cloud-based technology in Microsoft Azure.
• Basic knowledge of AI tooling, including its benefits for coding tasks and the risks of over-reliance.
• Ability to analyze user stories, communicate effectively, and deliver quality code quickly.
• BS in Computer Science, MIS, or a similar field, or equivalent experience and education.
• Ability to work for extended periods at a computer workstation, multitask, solve problems, prioritize workload, communicate orally and in writing, and occasionally work extended hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with CQRS architecture using Azure queues, Azure Functions, and/or Azure WebJobs.
