Product Support Engineer III

Location: Southern Pines, North Carolina, United States; in-office duty station with up to 50% stateside and international travel and recurring OCONUS deployments.

What you will do

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot TRAX tactical datalink software, equipment, and system prototypes.
• Manage product installation, testing, validation, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions and improve product reliability.
• Assess customer needs and deliver technical solutions, demonstrations, and training.
• Maintain technical documentation and reports while driving continuous improvement in support processes.
• Travel stateside and deploy to austere OCONUS locations to support training, exercises, and integration with end users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Subject matter expertise in tactical data links, tactical radios, or computer networking, including knowledge of Link 16, VMF, TAK/CoT, or related systems.
• Understanding of military operations and military or military-support experience.
• Active Secret U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Active passport or the ability to obtain one immediately; availability for up to 50% travel and OCONUS deployment is required.
• Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques.

Nice to have

• Experience with tactical datalink hardware, Multi-TDL networks, tactical datalink communications, or TRAX.
• JID-TC certificates, Security+ certification, or Network+ certification.
• Experience with advanced prototypes, communications-system integration, Common Operational Picture systems, or Counter-UAS sensors.
• Background in aerospace and defense, government, or the U.S. military, plus leadership experience.
• TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
