ES Field Project Manager (Environmental Services)

Location: Portland, OR, USA; field work is performed at client sites and facilities.

What you will do

• Manage field service projects from proposal preparation and contract execution through completion.
• Develop project scopes, safety plans, waste characterization, shipping, waste profiling, and required documentation.
• Coordinate field resources, subcontractors, equipment, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Track purchase orders, budgets, project costs, revenue, invoices, change orders, and profitability.
• Monitor health and safety performance, training, certifications, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and daily field activity.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customers on compliant solutions, reporting, account service, and new business opportunities.

Requirements

• At least two years of progressively responsible experience in waste disposal, environmental site investigations, chemistry, or a related field.
• At least two years of field-related or environmental site investigation experience.
• Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, TSCA, environmental waste regulations, industrial safety practices, and industrial hygiene.
• Ability to manage budgets, financial reports, resources, project documentation, and complex operational issues.
• Professional communication, customer service, organization, analytical judgment, and collaboration skills.
• Valid driver’s license; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and some customer contracts may require a degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
