Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics (Data Science)

Salary: $133,400–$200,100 per year

What you will do

• Lead a team of 3–4 data scientists and analytical professionals, managing workflow, priorities, and project allocation.
• Design and develop data products, business analyses, and analytical solutions using R, Python, SAS, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Partner with internal customers to deliver actionable insights that improve decision-making, performance, operations, and customer experience.
• Improve data integrity and usefulness in partnership with data governance and IT teams.
• Lead the analytics community of practice and support the maturation of data science across the organization.
• Mentor team members and drive cross-functional sharing of analytical frameworks, methods, and insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, performance measurement, analysis, process improvement, or a related area.
• Experience developing and managing large data warehouses.
• Strong data mining, cleaning, shaping, and sizing skills using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
• Strong experience with Power BI or Tableau and the ability to communicate data-driven stories.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in data science, mathematics, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and consolidating data warehouses with cloud systems.
• Electric or gas utility industry knowledge.
